Get to Know Your Photographer

Hello! Nice to meet you, I am Nathan, the founder of Nathan Robey Photography. Behind the camera I believe the moments we live every day are worth remembering. Photography, for me, isn’t just about creating beautiful images—it’s about preserving connection, personality, and the fleeting seasons of life that pass by far too quickly.

While my full time profession is in the field of architecture, I have been shooting photography for a number of years ever since my time in high school. Regarding my photography, I am drawn to portraits because of the stories they hold. A quiet glance between family members, the confidence of a senior stepping into a new chapter, or the ease that comes when someone finally feels comfortable being photographed—these are the moments that matter to me. My goal is always to create images that feel natural and honest, never forced or overly posed.

When you step in front of my camera, my priority is helping you feel at ease. I approach every session with a calm, thoughtful process, guiding when needed and allowing space for genuine moments to unfold. Whether I’m photographing headshots, family portraits, or senior sessions, I focus on creating an experience that feels relaxed and personal from start to finish.

Outside of photography, I find inspiration in simple things—time spent with loved ones, quiet moments, and the beauty found in everyday life and especially in nature. These influences shape how I see and photograph the world, guiding me toward imagery that feels timeless and meaningful rather than trendy or rushed.
